Kathy Shields - Educational Consultant & Professional Development Trainer

Kathy brings to Point Click Learn 18 years of classroom experience. This includes teaching elementary, junior high, special education, and university students. During the latter half of her classroom days, Kathy worked as a Reading Specialist where she provided whole class and small group instruction in reading, writing, and math programs. Kathy developed curriculum models in writing, conducted teacher training workshops, presented at regional conferences, coordinated support programs, and developed on-line curriculum for use at the university level. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Science Degree in Reading and Language Arts, Kathy’s educational background and work experience have provided her with a wealth of knowledge to be a valuable resource for classroom teachers.
