 Tech Camp for Kids receives Grant
The Erie Community Foundation recently made competitive grants and mini-grants totaling $285,564. The recipients were 19 local nonprofits that focus on education and 27 different schools.
One of the nonprofits, Tech Camp for Kids received $14,000. The grant will provide 30 scholarships for students to better understand technology at week-long camps this summer. The grant will include transportation to the program at the learning lab, 3823 West 12th Street. Students can choose an area of interest from options that include robotics, video-game design, stop-motion animation and Web-page design.
